Mike Miles: From Little League Hoops Phenom To Big Time College Prospect!
Mike Miles is a 15-year old student-athlete that attends Lancaster High School in the southern Dallas suburb of Lancaster, Texas . The 6’2 point guard is entering his sophmore season at Lancaster where he is the starting point guard and team captain on one of the state’s top ranked basketball teams. A high IQ guard with good court vision, Mike had a really impressive freshman season as the starting point for the reigning state champion Lancaster Tigers eventually earning Freshman of the Year honors in a 11-5A District that many consider the best in the state. A proven winner, Mike started playing competitive basketball at a very early age and has won championships at every level, including Back2Back City Championships during his days at Dallas ISD’s Kennedy Curry Middle School. The savvy floor general now has his sights set on cutting down the nets at the State Tournament and bringing a couple state championships back to Lancaster High School before his career is over.
Mike has successfully made the transition from little league phenom who burst onto the national scene as a 5th grader into a recruitable prospect. Now a top 15 Class of 2020 prospect, Mike is drawing interest from many Division 1 schools and already holds several scholarship offers from high major programs such as Oklahoma State, LSU, and TCU. A high character kid, Mike is also standout on the court, classroom, and in the community. Once in college, he plans to major in English and aspires to one day make it to the NBA where he can take care of his family and his mom doesn’t have to work anymore if she doesn’t want to. In Mike, you get a High IQ floor general and proven winner who makes everyone around him better. Also a coachable player that is a threat to score at all 3 levels.
